Prayer on Prayer

Prayer on Prayer

As we pray God moves. In the uncertainty of the current state of our world, I truly believe it is time for the believers to rise up and pray. Pray out loud, pray together, and do Micah 6:8 “the LORD has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.”

Emily and I have been on a prayer journey over the last couple months. We have been challenged by each other to pray out loud while we go through our daily life. It has honestly changed my life – having the agreement of your spouse in your prayers is like realizing that Jesus is right there every moment.

“For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.” -Matthew 18:20

We want to encourage you to pray big prayers and see God move through them. I know right now there is a tendency to have fear and some type of negative emotions because of everything we see on Facebook, Instagram, and the media. However, its time to take a break from that, take a step back and put our faith and trust in the LORD’s hands.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” -Philippians 4:6

I find myself worshiping and choosing to believe that God has the good of this nation in mind. In the last year, America has seen more revival than ever in my lifetime! Have you ever considered that maybe the hardest times in our nations history would produce the greatest dependence on the Lord? More and more people are coming to know Jesus daily!

If you’ve seen the worship gatherings on social media around our nation, its probably only  because you have a friend who was there. But if your like me and from ND, the likely hood of having a friend who has been in the places of revival is probably very slim.

Here is a video from the #LetUsWorship movement. A movement started in California after it was declared by the state that they could no longer sing in church. God has allowed Sean Feucht to lead worship in many different states in our nation and as there is worship and prayer – people are giving their lives to Jesus. At the bottom there is a video that was at the Nations capital of revival happening in late October – Please take a look!

Its amazing how persecution and the killing of freedoms allow believers to take a stand. After California residence were told you can not sing in church, the Let Us Worship movement took off!

Also, earlier this year, one couple who did the World Race saw 3,000+ people gathered on the beaches in California to worship every Friday! Many gave their lives and were baptized right then and there.

I tell you, why don’t we see this on the news? Why don’t we see God’s people moving? How do we get connected to what is going on? The truth is, you have to seek it out. The media will always be available, but its the believers of this nation that are sharing the goodness of God!

Would you pray BIG prayers with us! Emily and I are called to be leaders of this movement of our nation in missions. We have a desire to see youth pastors discipled and trained to raise up a generation of youth who will bring the gospel to the nations.

We believe in Kingdom callings – callings that God places on individual peoples lives and that is perfect for their gifting and passions. We believe that more and more young people are being called by God, given a vision to bring lasting hope to the nations of our world.

Would you pray with us:

1. God to revive our nation and people all around the world would realize the truth of the Gospel.

2. The God would rise up workers to labor into the field. Matthew 9:37-38 “Jesus said to the disciples, ‘the harvest is great but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.”

3. Pray that God would rise up believers to send us out. Emily and I have been praying for 40 days that the Lord would allow up to be fully funded and send us out. We are currently 22% funded in our ministry and excited ant thankful to see Him provide our needs daily.

4. Pray for our current ministry. As we share with people about what we get to do with Adventures in Missions that lives would be changed! This is our ministry and each time we share, we share the Good News of God and how He brought us to this spot, we share what He is doing and the hope for the world. Pray that many would come to a deeper faith in Jesus because of our time of sharing with them.

5. Pray with us for endurance for Emily and I as we do the work.

Emily and I have set up a prayer calendar designated for those who feel called to Journey with us as we pursue this Kingdom calling in our lives. If you would like us to dedicate a day to you, please leave a comment below and pick a date on the calendar (example: 4th of every month).

We would be honored to intentionally pray for you and your family as you commit to pray for us.

We will keep the updates rolling, but in the mean time remember to pray big!
